Community Guidelines

In short: VacationMe is a place to share trips and help each other travel better. Be kind, be honest, share only what’s yours to share, and keep other people’s private details private.
2. Be respectful
- No harassment, bullying, threats or hate towards any person or group.
- Disagree with ideas, not people. Keep comments and messages civil.
- Don’t pretend to be someone else, including other travellers, brands or VacationMe staff.
3. Keep it safe and legal
- No violent, sexually explicit or shocking content.
- Nothing that promotes illegal activity, dangerous behaviour or self-harm.
- Don’t share other people’s private information — addresses, phone numbers, booking references or travel documents — and be careful with your own. Never post a photo of a passport or boarding pass.
- Take care when posting where you are right now; you can always share a trip after you’ve left.
4. Be honest
- Only post content you created or have permission to share.
- No spam, scams, fake reviews or misleading offers.
- Don’t ask for coins in exchange for anything, or use coins to pay for goods or services.
5. If something’s wrong
Reporting and blocking tools are on the way. Until then, if you see a post, comment or message that breaks these guidelines, contact us at [support email to be added] with a link or the person’s username. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that break these guidelines or our Terms & Conditions.
In an emergency, contact your local emergency services first.
