Data Deletion Policy

Last updated 30 September 2026

In short: You can delete your account yourself in Settings. That removes your sign-in, profile and wallet at once. Some other data — your posts, messages and bookings — is not yet removed automatically, so this page explains how to remove it too.

1. How to delete your account

  • Go to Settings → Account, choose Delete account, and confirm with your password.
  • Signed up with Google? Your account has no password yet, and one can’t be set on the website at the moment. Contact us at [support email to be added] from your account’s email address and we’ll delete it for you.
  • Deleting your account can’t be undone.

2. What is removed straight away

  • Your sign-in: email address, username, password and any Google sign-in link.
  • Your profile: display name, bio and preferences.
  • Your coin balance. Unused coins are lost and can’t be refunded.
  • The link between your account and your saved cards at Stripe.

3. What is not yet removed automatically

We are working on deleting everything in one step. Until then, the following stays after your account is deleted unless you remove it first or ask us to:

  • Posts and comments. Delete them yourself before you delete your account (open a post’s menu and choose Delete). Deleting a post also deletes its photos and videos.
  • Your profile photo file. Remove it in Settings → Profile before deleting your account.
  • Likes, saved posts, follows and notifications.
  • Direct messages. The other people in a conversation keep their copy.
  • Wallet history (coin purchases and gifts).
  • Saved cards at Stripe. Remove them in Settings → Payment methods before deleting your account.

To have any of this removed after your account is gone, contact us at [support email to be added] and we’ll delete it.

4. What we keep, and why

Flight bookings and payment records (including traveller names and dates of birth) are kept after your account is deleted, because we may need them to handle changes or refunds, answer airline or payment queries, and meet legal and accounting requirements. We keep them only as long as we need to, and don’t use them for anything else.

5. Asking us to delete data

You can ask us to delete any of your data, with or without deleting your account, by contacting [support email to be added]. We’ll confirm it’s you, tell you if there’s anything we must keep and why, and let you know when it’s done.
